Some days, Illuma feels like a fully-fledged digital learning agency. Other days, it feels like we are staring at Google Docs and asking, “Did we already try that idea?”

Welcome to the chaotic, hopeful, and strangely satisfying journey of building an ERP training and digital adoption company from the ground up.

Not a Pivot — A Natural Shift

We didn’t have a big bang moment. There was no dramatic leap from corporate jobs to launching Illuma. The shift came slowly, like a tide rolling in. For years, we were comfortable — working as freelancers, ticking the boxes, delivering solid work for other companies. But when the tides of the economy started to shift (as they do), we all found ourselves independently reassessing what’s next.

Somehow, almost organically, Illuma was born.

We weren’t chasing startup glory. We just wanted to keep doing what we love — building great learning solutions, helping users actually use the systems thrown at them, and making ERP less painful for the people stuck in the middle of it all.

We’re Not New — Just Newly United

Between us, we’ve clocked enough years in the ERP trenches to know what works, what fails, and what makes users actually adopt the tech. Illuma is new, but the people behind it are seasoned.

We’ve trained users across SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, you name it. We’ve seen what happens when you launch a system with no training plan (hint: chaos). We’ve cleaned up the mess after failed adoptions. We know the pressure clients feel — and we know how to make it easier.

Still Building — and That’s Okay

Is everything perfect? Not even close.

Are we still tweaking our services page? Yep.

Are we proud of what we’re building anyway? 100%.

This isn’t a story of “we launched and hit 7 figures in 6 months.” It’s a story of a few people (plus a growing tribe of collaborators) showing up every day, doing meaningful work, and lighting the way — one user, one solution, one small win at a time.

Because that’s what Illuma means: to light up.

And that’s exactly what we’re here to do.
